Best UK SIM for Roaming in Turkey: Which Option Costs Less?

Short answer: You can use a UK mobile SIM in Turkey if your provider offers roaming there, but your normal European roaming allowance may not apply. Sky Mobile is worth checking if you want to keep using a UK plan abroad: its eligible Roaming Passport Plus costs £2 per 24-hour period of chargeable use in Turkey, making seven such periods £14 and fourteen £28, on top of the UK plan. VOXI offers a different option, with a limited-data Global Roaming Extra. Other providers can charge much more, while some premium contracts already include Turkey. If you only need holiday data, keeping your existing UK SIM for your number and adding a separate Turkey data eSIM can be a better choice than switching UK networks.

Turkey is not part of the EU, so a UK operator's usual EU-roaming entitlement does not automatically include it. Our EU roaming guide covers a different set of destinations and should not be used to infer Turkey charges. Some providers put Turkey or Northern Cyprus in separate roaming zones. Check each territory by name: being in the same region does not mean the operator charges the same rate. A pass may unlock your existing UK allowance, provide a separate small allowance or cover data only. Those products are not interchangeable.

Turkey roaming: key facts before you buy

Before changing SIMs, check three things: whether Turkey is included in your exact plan; how many days you will actually use chargeable roaming; and whether your UK plan is useful after you return home. Compare Sky Mobile SIM-only deals only after making those checks.

LebaraTurkey-specific roaming add-on or out-of-bundle creditStandard EU/India Roam Like Home does not cover Turkey; verify the add-on currently offered to your account
SMARTYOut-of-plan credit at Turkey ratesOfficial Turkey rate lists 10p per MB, so ordinary data use is expensive without a suitable alternative

iD MobileRoam Beyond data-only add-ons for eligible accountsCurrent official main roaming page lists 1 day / 2GB £5, 5 days / 10GB £20, 10 days / 20GB £35; calls/texts extra; older operator posts conflict on the five-day rate

These are roaming costs or routes, not new UK SIM subscription prices. A provider that charges nothing extra for eligible Turkey roaming may still have a much more expensive domestic contract. Likewise, a cheap two-year UK plan is not a sensible one-week travel product if you do not need it afterwards.

What does Turkey roaming cost for seven or fourteen days?

Start with days on which chargeable use happens, not simply hotel nights. Some daily services are triggered by data, outgoing calls or texts. Passes sold for a fixed number of days work differently, and small allowances can run out long before the pass expires.

Rates and packages checked 29 October 2026; the figures below are examples, not permanent quoted prices.

How to read the table: the Sky, O2, Vodafone and Three daily-rate rows assume use on every stated charged day without included roaming; these are incremental roaming charges, not UK plan prices. Sky's £14 and £28 are £2 × 7 and £2 × 14. For Three, the fixed £42/£84 Extra passes are a separate, commonly cheaper buying route than £56/£112 at the newer daily rate. Older Three cohorts, certain 25GB/120GB Lite contracts and eligible Complete or legacy plans may be different again. A 7-day pass is not a guarantee that seven hotel nights trigger exactly seven chargeable 24-hour periods. VOXI's 14-day example buys 4GB in total, not per day. SMARTY's 1GB example uses roughly 1,000MB to illustrate metered billing; it is not a pass.

A three-day trip on Sky with qualifying use in three separate 24-hour periods would mean £6 in extra Passport charges. A longer holiday with data left switched off for several days might trigger fewer charges, but receiving calls, sending texts and background activity need care. Do not budget zero for a day merely because you did not actively open a browser.

Three daily roaming versus passes: which duration is actually cheaper?

A Three customer without inclusive Turkey access should not automatically use the £8 × days calculation as the best price. Three's published Go Roam pass prices include 3-day £17.50, 5-day £29.75, 7-day £42 and 14-day £84 passes for eligible customers. Against £8 paid on each corresponding day, they save £6.50, £10.25, £14 and £28 respectively. Pass availability, activation, relevant tariff cohort and the number of actual charged days still matter. If you would only use the mobile service on three days of a seven-day stay, the decision is different. Most importantly, the pass does not permit a hotspot in Turkey.

Why a cheaper-looking daily pass can still be poor value

You might already pay for a UK SIM that suits you. In that case, replacing it with a second 24-month contract to save roaming fees may be a false economy. Suppose a change of UK provider raised your domestic bill by a hypothetical £5 per month: that is £120 across 24 months, before any exit charge. A single seven-day holiday saving £35 would not cover it. This is an illustration, not a quote for Sky or another operator.

The reverse can be true if you are already shopping for a new UK SIM, O2 coverage works at home and you travel to Turkey several times a year. For that buyer, the Sky 10GB 24-month card or Sky 25GB rolling card can be sensible starting points, but compare the normal UK cost, usable data, minimum term and total commitment first.

Is Sky Mobile good for roaming in Turkey?

Sky Mobile is a strong option to investigate for Turkey because the provider expressly lists Turkey, including Northern Cyprus, among its eligible destinations and advertises £2 per 24 hours of chargeable Roaming Passport Plus use. Among the standard paid daily options verified for this guide, that is particularly competitive, but a customer with Turkey already included elsewhere may pay nothing extra. The pass lets eligible customers access their UK minutes, texts and mobile data, rather than buying a separate 2GB travel bundle. That can be particularly useful for maps, messaging, occasional hotspot use and ordinary calls back to the UK.

Sky's destination information and tariff conditions govern the actual charge. The provider describes the pass as automatically triggered when you make a call, send a text or use more than 10MB of mobile data during the relevant period. A normal received SMS is not the same trigger as sending a text, but check voicemail, voice-call and background-data behaviour against your Sky account. An eligible Sky VIP Diamond customer may have free roaming instead; that is an account-specific privilege, not a benefit to assume for everybody.

What does the £2 Sky pass actually include?

QuestionSky answer for an eligible Turkey visit
Is there a separate activation purchase?Roaming Passport Plus is generally activated by qualifying usage; check account roaming settings
How long does a charge last?24 hours per charged pass, not necessarily midnight to midnight
Does it include mobile data? You can access your UK allowance subject to eligible roaming limits and fair use
Is there unlimited Turkey data? No. Your UK allowance and relevant roaming cap still apply; Sky describes up to 25GB per billing cycle under its roaming fair use
Is the £2 part of the UK monthly price? No. It is an additional charge unless an eligible account benefit waives it
Do spend caps matter?Yes. Sky says a cap of £0 or one below expected pass charges can block roaming
What about Wi-Fi Calling and phones?Check handset VoLTE roaming support and current Wi-Fi Calling behaviour before departure

If you plan to use Sky every day during a 14-day trip, set an appropriate spend cap: £28 covers the example pass fees but leaves no headroom for any other chargeable activity. A safer approach is to decide separately whether non-included calls or texts need to be possible, rather than indiscriminately removing spending controls.

Which Sky SIM should a regular Turkey traveller compare?

For flexibility, compare the Sky 25GB 30-day plan and other current Sky plans. A rolling plan avoids taking a two-year obligation solely for a holiday, although the precise cancellation and billing terms still matter. For a longer UK commitment, a Sky 10GB 24-month offer or Sky 50GB 24-month offer may be worth comparing on full minimum cost, not the first month's rate.

Sky uses O2's UK network, so first test coverage at home and on your regular UK journeys. Its Turkey roaming arrangement does not tell you whether O2 is the right network for your everyday British use. Our Sky Mobile vs O2 comparison covers their domestic products, while the Sky coverage guide helps check its O2 network. This article focuses on the Turkey destination.

How do the other major UK networks compare in Turkey?

O2 Turkey roaming: is O2 Travel worth £7 a day?

O2 Travel includes Turkey in its eligible Pay Monthly destination list and advertises £7 per chargeable day, providing eligible calls, texts and data under the Travel Bolt On's terms. There is no fixed data-bucket limit in the O2 Travel offer, but the service is capped at 2Mbps. The bolt-on can make sense if you want to keep your O2 number as the primary line, especially on a short break, but a fortnight of daily use comes to £98 without an inclusive benefit. Important: O2 says its Travel Bolt On daily charge is not included in your Spend Cap. Do not assume a £0 Spend Cap will prevent these charges.

O2 Travel may already be included through a particular plan or benefit, or your account could be governed by different terms. Check My O2 before buying another pass. The word unlimited does not remove fair-use or network-performance conditions. Calling a third-country number, premium numbers or using special services can also be charged separately.

If you are evaluating O2 as an ordinary UK SIM rather than looking for roaming alone, compare O2 SIM-only deals with the Sky Mobile range. They share an underlying UK network but charge for and package travel differently.

Vodafone Turkey roaming: why £16/£21 European passes are not the answer

Turkey belongs to Vodafone's Global Roam Zone C, not the European Zone B pass area. The published standard Pay Monthly daily charge for eligible plans without inclusive Zone C access is £8, giving £56 for seven charged days or £112 for fourteen. Contracts with qualifying Global Roam inclusion can instead cover Turkey without that daily surcharge.

Vodafone's separate 8-day and 15-day European Roaming Passes, currently priced for Zone B, are not a way to unlock Zone C Turkey. Buying one solely for Antalya would be a costly category mistake. Check the plan's destination list, any 25GB fair-use rule, and your own contract cohort. Older agreements can differ materially.

Three roaming in Turkey: Europe, Around the World or Extra?

Turkey is in Three's Go Roam Around the World Extra category. That is different from Go Roam in Europe and from the shorter Around the World list. Having a Value plan with European roaming does not by itself prove Turkey is included. A suitable Complete plan or an eligible legacy contract can have different benefits, but the account's exact Go Roam entitlement is decisive.

For many newer Pay Monthly plans without included Extra access, Three publishes an £8 daily charge in this band. But there is a real alternative: a published 7-day Around the World Extra pass for £42 or a 14-day pass for £84 where eligible. At the newer £8 daily rate, those compare with £56 and £112 for seven or fourteen charged days, a £14 or £28 difference. Some older contracts use £7 per day, and specially marked 25GB/120GB Lite offers can have different terms. Always compare the specific pass against your included days and account rate in My3; do not assume you can claim a pass or rate from another cohort.

The relevant data fair-use limit is generally up to 12GB of UK data. Crucially, Three states in its roaming FAQ that Personal Hotspot is not permitted in Go Roam Around the World Extra destinations, so its pass is a poor default for a traveller who must tether a laptop. A pass can give access to roaming allowances; it does not create unlimited data or hotspot rights. Check My3 for Spend Cap and the correct destination band before travelling.

An important distinction for readers: Three Value may include Go Roam in Europe, while Turkey is Around the World Extra. Do not pay for an upgrade based only on the name 'worldwide' without checking the destination's band. Our Three network guide is about the UK network, not Turkey passes.

EE roaming in Turkey: when should you buy a pass?

EE's Turkey and Northern Cyprus checker says mobile data is unavailable without a roaming pass, a safeguard against large accidental data bills. It separately displays standard voice and text charges, including £2.46 per minute and 98p per text in the version checked for this guide. Incoming calls and particular call types can have their own pricing.

EE offers destination-specific data and roaming passes. Because the interactive account route did not establish one universal fixed price and allowance for every EE plan at the time of research, use EE's current Turkey quote rather than an assumed £6-per-day rate or a generic European pass. Check whether you can buy a pass before departure or via the welcome text after landing, and test Wi-Fi Calling rules carefully: EE specifically advises switching it off abroad to avoid unexpected charging effects.

Lebara in Turkey: does Roam Like Home apply?

No. Lebara's ordinary Roam Like Home scheme is not a free Turkey data allowance. The provider expressly directs travellers to Turkey-specific roaming add-ons in its destination finder. The availability, price, data quantity and validity of a particular add-on must be confirmed for Turkey and the customer's plan. Without a suitable add-on, PAYG roaming credit can be consumed.

A package with international minutes for calls from the UK to Turkey is not proof of free roaming while you are physically in Turkey. That distinction matters if you already use Lebara for calls to family overseas. Keep your existing plan if it works for your everyday UK needs; compare a Turkey add-on or data-only travel eSIM before deciding to switch it just for a holiday. Lebara advises activation in the UK before using roaming abroad.

SMARTY: how expensive is standard Turkey data?

SMARTY's Turkey tariff lists data at 10p per MB, not part of its ordinary European roaming allowance. Roughly 1,000MB of usage would cost about £100 at that rate, while a 10MB background transfer alone costs £1. Its published Turkey list also shows 50p-per-minute calls to UK or Turkish standard mobiles and 20p per text to Turkish numbers. That is a reason to keep mobile data roaming switched off unless you have deliberately funded a suitable out-of-plan arrangement.

SMARTY says you may need to adjust phone settings before roaming and have an Out of plan add-on balance. A normal UK 30-day data bundle is not a cheap Turkey data pass. Do not turn on data roaming to 'test whether it works' without checking your balance and charges.

VOXI in Turkey: is the 8-day or 15-day Extra better?

VOXI is worth checking if you use little data but want a predictable multi-day bundle. Its eligible Global Roaming Extras list Turkey and specify £16 for 8 days with 2GB, 100 minutes and 100 texts, or £26.60 for 15 days with 4GB, 200 minutes and 200 texts. These include qualifying calls to the UK and within the country, subject to the pass rules; calling third countries and non-standard numbers is a separate matter.

The pass starts when you buy it, not on the first day you use it, and the allowance can run out before the last day. The brand's UK Endless Social Media/Music/Video exemptions do not give you endless mobile data in Turkey. If you plan to stream films or tether a laptop, 2GB over eight days can disappear quickly. The 15-day pass costs more than seven Sky £2 days, but remember that it is a different product requiring no Sky switch or extra Sky contract.

giffgaff and other UK SIMs: check the Turkey-specific add-on

giffgaff's ordinary EU data allowance does not include Turkey, but giffgaff officially offers separate travel data add-ons in its app for Türkiye. You choose a country-specific quantity, with 1GB, 5GB or 10GB options and 30-day validity from purchase. Exact Turkey checkout prices were not obtainable from its public destination checker in a sufficiently reliable way for a permanent comparison table, so check the giffgaff app before purchase. Data travel add-ons do not include ordinary voice calls and texts; those require eligible credit and rates.

For other brands such as Tesco Mobile, iD Mobile, 1pMobile and Lyca Mobile, do not borrow their EU allowance figures or another brand's daily charge. Check the operator's Turkey destination entry, your account type, whether an add-on can be bought, and whether it includes voice, SMS and tethering. When no provider-specific official quote is confirmed, an unpriced recommendation is more responsible than an invented cost.

iD Mobile: a data-only Roam Beyond alternative

iD Mobile supports Turkey through Roam Beyond data add-ons, so existing iD customers have another option between metered roaming and a separate travel eSIM. Its current official roaming page lists 2GB for one day at £5, 10GB for five days at £20 and 20GB for ten days at £35. These are data-only: ordinary calls and texts are charged separately, and the add-on does not reuse your UK minutes. An existing iD customer can cover seven days with the ten-day 20GB pack at £35, or consider combining shorter packages, depending on their data needs and account eligibility.

For a fourteen-day itinerary, a ten-day £35 package followed by a five-day £20 package would cost £55 and give 20GB then 10GB across consecutive validity periods, if the account offers both at those prices and allows the follow-on purchase when the first expires. This is a conditional calculation, not a fixed fourteen-day product or a promise that packages stack. An older iD operator article quotes a conflicting five-day price, so verify the current rate in My iD before paying. Add-ons activate on purchase; don't activate the second prematurely. iD is included for an honest comparison, not as a DealPriceCheck affiliate checkout.

When is a separate Turkey travel eSIM cheaper?

A data-only travel eSIM can be a better value choice for someone who already has a working UK mobile plan and wants several gigabytes in Turkey, particularly if their network's daily charges add up over a fortnight. You can keep the UK SIM active for your number and eligible incoming SMS while routing mobile internet through a separate Turkish travel profile. No particular eSIM brand or price needs to be assumed to make that decision.

Compare the total travel eSIM cost for the data you will use with the incremental roaming cost of keeping your existing UK SIM. If a 14-day hotel-and-sightseeing trip costs £28 in Sky passes, a separate eSIM is cheaper on direct data spend only if it supplies enough data for less than that, and if losing the UK's bundled roaming calls and texts does not create extra charges. A hypothetical £15 data-only eSIM saves £13 against that Sky example; this is arithmetic, not a verified Turkish eSIM retail offer.

Set the phone's mobile data line to the travel eSIM, and switch off data roaming on the UK line unless you deliberately need its chargeable data. Disable automatic data switching that could quietly move traffic back to your UK SIM. Keeping the UK line enabled for messages may still allow chargeable voice activity, voicemail or other services; check which incoming communications are free rather than assuming all incoming traffic is free.

Buy and install the travel profile using reliable Wi-Fi before leaving Britain, if the provider permits advance installation. Turkey has restricted access to some international eSIM providers' apps and websites, which may prevent a traveller from buying, installing or topping up that particular eSIM after arrival; this does not mean every existing eSIM stops working. Test the installed profile and save offline activation/support details. Confirm when its validity begins: some eSIM products begin on purchase, others on first connection. Check whether it can be topped up and whether Turkish network access, hotspot, fair use and identity requirements suit your trip. This guide does not rank travel-eSIM merchants because its purpose is to compare UK SIM roaming, not to sell a second product category.

Three-day Istanbul break: how to avoid an unnecessary switch

If your existing contract includes Turkey, using that allowance can be the least disruptive answer. If you already have Sky, three qualifying 24-hour periods would add £6, and there is no need to buy a second SIM just to use maps. If you are on an O2 contract without inclusive Turkey access, three £7 O2 Travel days would be £21. A qualifying Three customer could instead use the 3-day £17.50 Extra pass, compared with £24 at three £8 daily charges, provided their account is eligible and they do not need tethering. Those are comparisons of incremental roaming charges, not a recommendation to take out a new Sky contract for a long weekend.

A week in Antalya: compare access with the actual GB limit

Sky's seven charged periods would cost £14 on the eligible pass, while one VOXI eight-day £16 Extra provides just 2GB. If you consume 3GB during the week, the VOXI 2GB pass is insufficient regardless of how attractive its headline price looks. A separate data eSIM may work better for that account; if Sky is already your normal UK SIM and you need UK calls, Sky may be simpler.

Two weeks in Turkey: include the full holiday, not just day one

Fourteen Sky chargeable periods are £28 in the stated example; O2 Travel can reach £98 and Vodafone's standard £8 charge £112 if used daily. Three's £84 Extra pass may beat paying £112 at its newer £8 daily rate, although it still limits data and excludes hotspot use. VOXI's 15-day £26.60 Extra has a strict 4GB data budget. If you already have iD, the current published 10-day and 5-day Roam Beyond packages could cost £55 across fourteen days with separate successive purchases, but the 5-day rate and account eligibility must be checked. The right decision turns on how much mobile data you actually use, whether a UK voice number matters, and whether your existing plan has inclusive Turkey benefits.

How to prevent unexpected UK roaming charges in Turkey

Roaming charges can start without a deliberate holiday call. Background photo backup, software updates, autoplaying video and maps can use data as soon as the phone connects. Even a small transfer can trigger a daily pass on some providers. Conversely, a restrictive spend cap can stop intended roaming from working.

What to do before flying

  1. Open your UK operator's Turkey destination checker. Select Turkey or Türkiye and read the category for your exact Pay Monthly, PAYG or legacy plan; check Northern Cyprus separately if relevant.
  2. Check all charge triggers. Ask whether an outgoing call, received call, text or data use activates a paid day, and when a 24-hour pass begins and ends.
  3. Calculate data first. Look at the last two or three months of your phone's mobile data, then estimate maps, photos, messaging calls, video and hotspot use during your holiday.
  4. Check what your spend cap actually covers. Sky and Three can block their roaming charges when a cap is too low. O2 explicitly excludes O2 Travel from the Spend Cap, so a £0 cap is not a reliable way to stop that daily pass fee. Read your own operator's rules rather than trusting a generic phone limit.
  5. Check the exact eligible country and roaming data cap. A plan with 100GB UK data may offer only 12GB or 25GB abroad, or no included Turkey data at all.
  6. Check eSIM, handset and voice compatibility. Test Wi-Fi Calling/VoLTE requirements, device unlocking, how dual-SIM data selection works, and the method for reaching your UK number.
  7. Download essentials on Wi-Fi. Offline maps, boarding passes, accommodation addresses and authentication backup codes reduce reliance on chargeable roaming.
  8. Confirm activation and renewal. Lebara and some other prepaid products may need UK activation; travel passes may start counting down immediately upon purchase. For a separate travel eSIM, install it before Turkey when possible because some overseas eSIM sales and activation services may be inaccessible after arrival.

What to check after landing

Read the provider's welcome SMS and check which local network your phone selected before switching roaming data on. If a Turkey-specific pass was meant to cover the trip, confirm it is active in your account or confirmation message. Switch automatic app updates and cloud backups to Wi-Fi, and monitor the provider's allowance rather than relying solely on your handset estimate.

Near the Greek islands, the Cyprus border and Turkish coastal areas, a phone can attach to a network across an international boundary. Mainland Turkey, the Republic of Cyprus, and Northern Cyprus can be priced differently; the destination displayed on the phone and the operator's actual roaming zone matter. On a ferry or cruise, maritime networks can create a completely different charging category.

Calls, voicemail and receiving a bank SMS

Receiving a normal SMS on a UK number is often free abroad, but do not treat this as a universal promise across every operator or plan. Receiving a voice call can be chargeable, and checking or diverting to voicemail may create separate charges. A data-only eSIM cannot by itself receive SMS addressed to your UK number. Keep the relevant UK SIM active only as needed, and avoid accidentally sending calls or texts that trigger a paid pass. If you need reliable bank verification, confirm that your UK number and the bank's chosen verification method will work before leaving.

Compare UK SIM plans if you travel to Turkey regularly

For someone who lives in Britain and regularly travels to Turkey, roaming is one part of the annual SIM decision. The home network must work at your address, the included UK allowance must fit your usage, and your contract should not cost more over its lifetime than the travel benefit is worth.

Turkey roaming FAQs

Can I use my normal UK SIM in Turkey?

Often yes, if your provider has a Turkey roaming agreement and your phone and account are enabled for it. But your standard European allowance may not work, and data may require a pass, paid add-on or PAYG credit.

Is Turkey included in free EU roaming?

No automatic entitlement applies. Turkey is outside the EU, and any free use depends on your particular operator's separately published Turkey inclusion. Check the destination, not just the phrase 'European roaming'.

How much is Sky Mobile roaming in Turkey?

For eligible Roaming Passport Plus customers, Sky lists £2 per 24-hour period of chargeable use, on top of the normal UK plan, subject to allowance and fair-use conditions. Seven periods cost £14 and fourteen cost £28 before any non-included charges.

Is Northern Cyprus covered by Sky Mobile?

Sky's destination list expressly labels Turkey (including Northern Cyprus). That does not make Northern Cyprus part of the Republic of Cyprus EU roaming zone on other operators. Check each network's own destination checker.

Does Lebara include Turkey roaming for free?

Not through its ordinary EU/India Roam Like Home benefit. Lebara directs Turkey travellers to a destination-specific roaming add-on or standard chargeable roaming. Check the actual package available to your account.

Is Turkey included in Three Go Roam Europe?

No. Three lists Turkey under Go Roam Around the World Extra. A plan with only European Go Roam or the smaller Around the World band cannot be assumed to include Turkey. Where eligible, Three also publishes 7-day £42 and 14-day £84 Extra passes, which can beat paying £8 each day. Personal Hotspot is not permitted in Extra destinations.

Is VOXI Endless Social Media free in Turkey?

No. VOXI's UK Endless features do not give unlimited Turkey data. A Turkey-eligible Global Roaming Extra provides its own limited GB, minutes and texts for a set number of days.

Should I buy a separate Turkey eSIM?

It may be cheaper if your current UK provider charges a high daily fee and you mainly need mobile data. Keep the UK line for your number, check how any calls/SMS are charged, and buy a suitably sized and compatible travel eSIM rather than assuming the cheapest advertised GB count will work everywhere.

Will I receive UK bank verification texts in Turkey?

A UK SIM may still receive eligible texts while roaming, even if mobile data is routed through another eSIM, but your number, phone and provider must remain active and connected. Check your operator's incoming-SMS charges and your bank's verification method in advance.

Can I tether a laptop while roaming in Turkey?

Check the actual destination terms. Three prohibits Personal Hotspot in its Go Roam Around the World Extra destinations, including Turkey. A provider's UK tethering rights do not necessarily apply abroad. VOXI's small 2GB/4GB passes may be unsuitable for laptop backups and video calls; Sky and other UK-allowance passes have roaming fair-use limits. For remote work, a separate data eSIM or local SIM with confirmed tethering rights may be more practical.

Verdict: which UK SIM costs less in Turkey?

If you already have a plan that includes Turkey, start there: £0 extra may beat every paid pass in this table. If you already use Sky Mobile, its eligible £2-per-24-hour roaming route is a straightforward option for modest holiday use, subject to your UK data allowance and fair use. If you already use VOXI, compare its fixed-length Global Roaming Extra against the GB you realistically need. For O2, Vodafone, Three, EE, Lebara, SMARTY and giffgaff, the right choice depends on the exact destination category, contract and available add-on.

If you are shopping for a new UK SIM anyway and O2 coverage suits your normal life, compare Sky Mobile's current SIM deals and use the verified internal offer cards. If you are not switching your UK service, compare a Turkey-specific pass with a separate data-only eSIM before spending more than necessary. The best SIM for a British holidaymaker is the one that works in Britain first and does not surprise them in Turkey.
